So if you were looking for something encouraging today, my apologies. It was hard finding the courage to post today’s Sweat Report. It was my birthday week and my celebration mindset made it easy to give up exercising (and posting to the blog…sorry).
Halfway through the week I noticed my energy level dropping. My healthier eating habits disappeared since I wasn’t exercising. By the end of the week, I was tired and GRUMPY with my kids. I’ve never been more convinced of the benefits of exercise. It keeps me sane!
On a happy note: I’ve started receiving comments that my daughter looks healthier. This thrills me!!
I’m committing to walking today. It’s amazing how one day of exercising can put you right back on track. If you’ve found yourself slacking, join me for a walk today (virtually). I’d love to hear if you do.

Oh girl! That's how we learn...when we change things back! LOL! See this not as a setback...see it as part of the growing process. Love ya!!!!
ReplyDeleteI completely agree with Michele! And, by the post it does sound like you DID get something good out of it after all... you realized how much exercise helps and benefits YOU! That one week of "rest" and how you started to feel is what's getting you to re-commit to your walks, etc. You'll get right back on it, I'm sure. We ALL have times when we fall of the wagon, it's whether we stay down or jump back in that counts! You're still doing great!
